Located in the heart of Tokushima, Japan, Awagami Factory has been producing high quality papers since the 18th century under the direction of the Fujimori family for eight generations.

Awagami focuses on research and development in an ongoing effort to integrate washi into contemporary life. They have combined both traditional and innovative paper making techniques, enable the mill to develop unique papers for calligraphy, printmaking, bookbinding, restoration of artwork, crafting and many more.
